The Nordic Chalets « Comfort and wellbeing » In Autrans, our 4 rental chalets of 110 m² welcome you all year around On an estate of 4000m², at the entrance of the village, the Nordic Chalets combine comfort, tradition, and modernity. Huge picture windows let the light in whereas the underfloor heating and the fireplace assure cosy athmosphere in winter, further guaranteed by an ecological isolation all in feather! A beautiful wooden terrace enables you to enjoy the sunny days outside… The chalets also offer you a vast living-cum-dining room of 42m² for the conviviality and a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of cupboard space for more convenience. For the look and the tradition, the chalets are entirely covered with larch. The nearest cross-country track runs at only 50 m from the chalets and the alpine slopes of Claret are located at a short walking distance. For your optimal comfort: common to the 4 chalets, a spacious central building with sauna and jacuzzi, a relaxation room and a library, again with huge picture windows facing South. Vercors: At the heart of the Vercors Natural Parc, Autrans is a ski resort but also a lively village all year round. Winter: For cross-country skiing the domain of Autrans - Méaudre is well-known and offers a great number of varied and particularily well prepared tracks (in classic and skating style). Together with the tracks of the neighbouring resorts of Villard de Lans, Corrençon and Lans en Vercors, there are over 600 km of cross-country tracks to choose from! Snow-shoeing: The fauna in the Vercos is rich and you will enjoy discovering foot prints on the paths across the forests. Alpine skiing: In Autrans, the slopes for beginners (Claret) are only 5 min. away by foot and the main alpine resort at 8km (shuttle service; shuttle stop by the Claret slopes, at 600m). In the neighbouring village, Méaudre, the alpine resort is right in the village. The ski pass is valid for the 2 resorts and the most important alpine resort of Vercors, Villard de Lans – Corrençon, is only 15 km away! Summer: Autrans offers tens of kilometres of well-marked hiking paths and several well-prepared montain biking trails. There are also tennis courts and a skate-board park in the centre of the village. Description of a chalet: Accommodation capacity for 6 to 8 or even 10 persons, with good level of comfort. Semi-detached chalets: (2 x 2) Groundfloor + 1st floor: surface 110m² Groundfloor: living-cum-dining room 42m², with fireplace and huge picture windows, a fully equipped kitchen of 12m², storage (skis, bikes, etc.), WC. A sofa bed of 140 cm + a sofa for 3 + a rocking chair etc. 1st floor: 3 sleeping rooms; 1 with a double bed of 160x200, 2 with 3 beds of 90x200. These beds can be moved to form a comfortable double bed (hotel bedding). 1 spacious bath room with bath tub and shower. The chalets are orientated South with wooden terraces (min. 20m²), a private garden and a shared park. Car shed, private parking place and a shared parking. Chalets with wooden framework, argon windows, picture windows in pine, exterior in larch. The chalets are non-smoking – Pets are not welcome. Equipement: Electrical appliance: halogen hotplate, dish-washer, washing machine, pyrolysis oven with autotimer, micro-wave oven, refrigerator, vacuum-cleaner, an iron and ironing board + various small electric devices (mixer, etc.) Multimedia: TV, DVD player. Duvets and pillows, bed linen and towels are included in the rental. Exterior: garden furniture, lawn and shared park. Location: The chalets are located at the entrance of the village on the road from Méaudre, max. 5 minutes by foot from the central square of the village and all shops. 50 m from the nearest cross-country track. 5 minutes by foot from the nearest shuttle stop (shuttles to the alpine resort of La Sure) and of the beginner slopes of Claret. A restaurant and a dairy (cheese, delicatessen, fine wines and grocery) right next door.
